Man this year's been really shitty for famous people, ranging from Tony Hart to Wayne Allwine. And now, Michael Jackson, for real, this time.

Say, how many people here ever sat and watched Moonwalker, as in the movie? Plot wise it wasn't exactly top notch, but man the animated parts, like the bit with the rabbit guy, whoa man, now THAT was what associated Michael Jackson with my childhood. When me and my sisters were really little, we used to watch that over and over...

It's sad really, because to tell truth, I wasn't much of a fan of his music; I wasn't really like, listening to it every day and I never liked Billie Jean. That's not to say I didn't like it at all though, there were some awesome gems, like this one: [link]

But then again, who can forget the trainwreck that was Earth Song?

Even if you didn't like him surely you must have liked at least one of his songs surely :o and Thriller is still the greatest music video EVER

I'm not a huge fan, but it's still pretty shocking to hear that he's gone. I like Billie-Jean though, classic song :)

Yeah, I had Moonwalker and HIStory (with all the long music videos on it) as a kid. I also had a friend in primary school who would do MJ's dance routines from watching the hell out of them. I've actually just re-bought them on DVD so that nostalgia can come back. :)

There's only one thing we can know for sure as a living being; we all die.

I actually enjoyed quite a lot of his music (which I've always been kind of embarrassed to admit thanks to one kid in Mead who lol'd at me for said opinion :P), although I'm largely indifferent to MJ as a person. There's just so much media hype about his bizarre lifeestyle that I kind of just gave up on deciding what to think of the guy.
But yeah...I'd gone to bed early last night, so walking into the gym and seeing that on TV was a bit of a shocker.

As soon as I heard that he had skin cancer I knew that everything would turn to shit for him sooner or later...

What? You're sayign Micheal Jackson has skin cancer? I thought he died from an overdose on medicine, from what the news here said.

About a month or so ago there were reports that he had skin cancer but they might have not been true; the real death was apparently by a cardiac arrest.

I actually enjoyed alot of Michael Jackson's songs, evers since I was little. Smooth Criminal was my absolute favorite(next to Thriller of course). But I felt that song didn't get enough credit compared to his other songs.
